Summary
The Jets just made a major kicker move, releasing Jason Sanders and signing Blake Grupe off waivers from the Colts — leaving Grupe as the lone kicker on the roster. Grupe had a rocky start with the Saints but finished strong with the Colts, going 11-for-11. Ironically, he lost the Colts’ job to Spencer Shrader, who dominated preseason kicks including two huge field goals. Now, with the regular season looming, Grupe’s time to shine begins — and fans will be watching closely to see if he can deliver under pressure.
