Summary
The Jets’ defense last year was historic in its futility—zero interceptions all season, tied for the worst record in NFL history. Head coach Aaron Glenn admitted his rookie coaching struggles played a role. This offseason, ownership stood by Glenn while gutting the coaching staff, leaving him to call his own defense with Brian Duker as coordinator. On offense, Frank Reich takes the reins, and GM Darren Mougey went big with top draft pick David Bailey, plus Minkah Fitzpatrick and veteran QB Geno Smith. The schedule offers hope: Miami, reeling after firing their coach and shedding stars like Tua and Tyreek Hill, is a prime target. Other winnable games include Week 1 vs. Robert Saleh’s Titans (new staff, untested roster), Week 5 vs. Cleveland (no clear QB, Myles Garrett gone), Week 8 vs. Las Vegas (rookie QB, new coach), and possibly Week 15 vs. Arizona (Kyler Murray out, QB chaos). The Jets have a chance to turn things around—if they can capitalize on chaos. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
