Summary
The Jets are betting big on rookie Cade Klubnik as Geno Smith’s backup, a bold move given his inexperience and the pressure of stepping in if Smith goes down. A fourth-round Clemson pick, Klubnik impressed in preseason games—starting two and showing flashes of poise despite no touchdowns. Coach Aaron Glenn praised Klubnik’s confidence, intelligence, and rapid development, especially his ability to learn from running scout team offense. Klubnik, used to high-stakes college football, remains calm under scrutiny. Veteran Bailey Zappe returns to the practice squad as third-string QB, while former starter Brady Cook surprisingly signed with Miami. The Jets’ faith rests on Klubnik’s potential—and whether he can rise to the occasion when it matters most. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
