Summary
A federal court just sided with New Jersey, tossing out the Trump administration’s lawsuit over state rules limiting ICE’s use of state property. Judge Georgette Castner ruled the feds didn’t prove their authority was being infringed, backing New Jersey’s pushback against aggressive immigration enforcement. Governor Sherrill and the Attorney General hailed it as a victory for state sovereignty and public safety, while civil rights groups cheered the win as a step toward community well-being. The case underscores the ongoing tug-of-war between state and federal power in immigration policy. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
