Summary
A 41-year-old man, Tiliek Thompson, is now the main suspect in the murder of 27-year-old Lovay Williams, found dead in her Washington Heights apartment on September 6. The grim discovery came after a family member called 911 for a wellness check — it was Williams’ five-year-old daughter who answered the door. Officers found her unresponsive with facial and neck injuries; she was pronounced dead at the scene. Thompson faces multiple charges including murder, strangulation, child abandonment, and injuring a child — and the legal battle has just begun.
