She also outlines four levels of consciousness from esoteric traditions, with the third level (liminal/imaginal space) being crucial for experiencing anomalous phenomena and spiritual awakening. She contrasts this third tier with the materialistic first level that dominates modern AI development, and therefore threatens to pervert our potential.
