Summary

After the bloodiest conflict in history, where all sides piled millions of bodies in burnt-out husks of once great European cities, the victors of WWII decided to prosecute the war further upon the former leaders of their vanquished enemy. In November 1945, mere months after the official surrender of Germany and Japan, the International Military Tribunal convened on the German city of Nuremberg to present evidence of “crimes against humanity” by the Nazi high command. Their guilt was all but predetermined, yet the way in which the American, British, French and Soviet delegations would make their case was far from decided. Tonight we reconvene with Thomas777 to discuss how this trial was planned, organized, and carried out to lay the moral framework for the post-WWII globalist regime that we live in today. The World at War Episodes covered in this episode: 25 - “Reckoning (April 1945)” - Post-war Europe including the Alied occupation of Germany, demobilisation, the Nuremberg Trials and the genesis of the Cold War.
