Summary
In August 2016, the entire Tromp family—Mark (51), Jacoba (53), and their three adult children—fled their Victorian farm without phones, passports, or cards, convinced they were being hunted. Over five days, they drove 500 miles, split up one by one, stole cars, and were found across two states. One daughter was discovered catatonic in a truck bed.
