Summary
Country music icon Randy Travis is back with his first album of original songs in 18 years, Same Old Way, dropping November 13th — and it’s packed with new material he recorded from 1986 to 2013. The title track, co-written with longtime producer Kyle Lehning (his first major songwriting credit), captures Travis’ philosophy: when life throws you a curveball, swing for the fences the “same old way.” He’s already released two singles, “Fish On” and “I Don’t Care,” and thanks fans for their loyalty. Lehning unearthed, remixed, and remastered the recordings with Travis’ input, making this a labor of love. This year also celebrates 40 years since Travis’ debut, Storms of Life, and marks the final stretch of his extensive More Life Tour — hitting 54 cities across 24 states.
