Summary
My Chemical Romance turned their 20th anniversary tour into a cinematic saga, weaving a multi-leg narrative across timelines that culminated in San Antonio with a beheading, election win, and knighting ceremony. Starting in 2025, they leapt to a “prequel” Latin American leg in 2026 before returning to the original timeline—each night subtly shifting props, setlists, and performances to advance a story set in the fictional dystopian world of Draag, ruled by a dictator. Fans decoded clues from Phillie Phanatic appearances to time-loop hints and even a dagger-stabbing moment with Frank Iero. The finale burned a ventriloquist dummy and crowned Gerard Way as victor, while hidden messages and an unreleased song teased future music—a masterful, immersive experience that felt less like a concert and more like a live-action comic book epilogue.
