Summary
Kanye West and Kid Cudi made a surprise reunion on stage in Chicago, performing together for the first time in seven years — a powerful moment after their public fallout in 2022. The rift began when Kanye removed Cudi’s contributions from his “Donda 2” album, citing discomfort with Cudi’s friendship with Pete Davidson. But in a heartfelt post-show message, Cudi called Kanye family, praised his sincerity, and acknowledged his own role in holding him accountable — all while celebrating their renewed bond and Kanye’s progress through mental health struggles. The night was packed with star-studded cameos including Lupe Fiasco, Travis Scott, Big Sean, and more, turning it into an unforgettable celebration of music, redemption, and unexpected reunions.
