Summary
Jason Aldean’s new track “Anytime Soon” channels the soulful vibe of Ronnie Milsap, born from a spontaneous jam session with his bandmates Tully Kennedy and Kurt Allison—plus John Edwards. What started as a loose chord progression quickly evolved into a heartbreak anthem about drowning sorrows in endless whiskey, with the title emerging organically as they packed up for the day. After refining the lyrics with imagery like a “hole in the wall” bar and bringing in John Morgan to polish it, the song clicked instantly in the studio—nailing vocals and vintage Wurlitzer tones in just a few takes. Already charting, this feels like another signature Aldean hit. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
