Summary
Dee Snider is furious about bands pulling the “farewell tour” stunt—selling out fans on permanent exits only to return years later. He argues it’s disrespectful, especially when original members are gone, and insists rock bands aren’t like sports teams where lineups constantly shift. While he’s not against playing forever, he demands honesty: if you’re truly done, stay done. Ironically, Dee himself had to cancel Twisted Sister’s reunion shows due to health issues after their own 2016 “Forty And Fuck It” farewell tour—yet the band’s still hitting the road this fall with a new lineup including Sebastian Bach, proving endings aren’t always final.
