Summary
This episode details the investigation into Jazelle Victoria Gonzalez, who was charged with the murder of her roommate, Rooney Leady Medina Pacho, following her 2022 disappearance in Orlando. Although Gonzalez initially reported her roommate missing, detectives uncovered a series of suspicious actions, including the purchase of a chainsaw and cleaning supplies shortly after a dispute over stolen money. Law enforcement eventually discovered blood spatter and evidence of a violent struggle within their shared apartment, contradicting the suspect's evolving claims. Gonzalez allegedly attempted to conceal the crime by shipping the victim's phone and surveillance cameras to the Dominican Republic while searching online for body disposal methods. After a two-year investigation, she was apprehended in Connecticut and now faces charges of second-degree murder and grand theft. Despite these legal developments and forensic findings, the victim’s remains have never been recovered.
