Summary
The episode details an FBI investigation into Aurora Phelps, a 44-year-old woman accused of orchestrating a lethal international romance scam targeting elderly men. Operating across Las Vegas and Mexico, Phelps reportedly utilized dating applications to lure victims before drugging them with sedatives to steal their financial assets and identities. Federal authorities have identified multiple victims, some of whom were kidnapped or killed, including cases where Phelps allegedly posed as the deceased to deceive their families. She is currently serving a 37-year sentence in Mexico for the death of Robert Erbach and faces additional federal charges in the United States, including kidnapping resulting in death. The FBI is actively seeking public assistance to identify further potential victims of her predatory schemes from 2019 to 2022.
