In this episode we talk to Emily Mai. Emily has been on Only fans since 2018, after doing topless waitressing in strip clubs. Emily went into explicit online creation knowing that she was going to be a mum one day. As a single mum, Emily wanted an income that would support her and her kids lives and granted her the flexibility to be at home with her children. She spoke to Becky & Eden about her journey exploring these new platforms and what it took to go viral, versus what it is like now. We spoke about how saturated the industry has become, and how hard it is to be seen and to be able to turn views into subscribers. Emily warns anyone thinking about getting into content that what you make will often get leaked and once its on the internet, it's nearly impossible to get taken down. Emily spoke about having her identity discovered and people outing her and the judgement she faced. We spoke about why women especially are so judgemental towards sex workers.
