Summary

Fitting, because what’s more American than repressed senators dating twink heirs to a popcorn fortune? Just like this week's movie: Traveling to Olympia (2001), a queer shot-on-video headscratcher set in the Pacific Northwest—the Wakanda for Gays, apparently. We follow Johnny, a traumatized twink with a duffel bag and one facial expression, as he washes dishes, processes trauma, and parties at gay cowboy bars—with beautiful musical interludes from the PNW greatest crooners.
