Summary
The Power of the Word of God: Building Strong Faith The Word of God is the foundation of a believer’s life. Through Scripture, faith is ignited, strengthened, and sustained. When the Word of God dwells richly within, faith becomes unshakeable, and every need is met through the promises of God. The Word of God: Source of Faith Faith is born and grows through hearing and meditating on the Word of God. Romans 10:17 "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The Word of God: The Source of Everything When the Word of God is present, every spiritual and practical need is met. Matthew 4:4 "But He answered and said, 'It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"
