Summary
Graeme Clarke, a Minnesota Wild prospect who never played an NHL game, is heading to Europe after signing a one-year deal with Swedish powerhouse Frölunda HC. After scoring 37 points in 64 AHL games with Iowa and finishing strong with Belleville (5 goals, 14 assists in 15 games), Clarke’s offensive skill and versatility caught the eye of Frölunda, who see him as a dynamic forward capable of playing both wing and center. A third-round pick by the Devils in 2019, Clarke’s best AHL season came in 2022-23 with 25 goals and 58 points, and he earned three NHL games with New Jersey. Now, he’ll compete in Sweden’s top league, the Champions Hockey League, and the Spengler Cup — proving himself on the world stage.
