Summary
Gov. Tim Walz authorized state disaster assistance for six southern Minnesota counties following severe storms and floods earlier this summer. Walz says the state will provide funding and public assistance to help rebuild critical public infrastructure damaged in the storm. Documents from a lawsuit against firearms retailer Fleet Farm were made public Wednesday. The case was settled in February. Attorney General Keith Ellison's office sued Fleet Farm in 2022. It alleged that the retailer negligently sold firearms to straw buyers. Mike Lindell says he'll pay for a hand recount in the Republican governor primary that he lost by tens of thousands of votes. The founder of MyPillow says he wants a statewide hand recount and audit of every paper ballot cast in the Republican primary for governor.
