Summary
The Minnesota Timberwolves just made a blockbuster move by signing former Warriors champion Jonathan Kuminga to a two-year, $13M deal — signaling their full commitment to contending for a title. Kuminga, 23, will slot in as a starter alongside Edwards and Ball, forming a dynamic, championship-caliber starting five. After splitting last season between the Hawks and Warriors, this is his fresh start on a team ready to compete — and he’ll wear No. 24, turning 24 in a month. The Wolves cleared cap space and made roster moves to make it happen, confirming the deal Friday morning. This isn’t just talent — it’s proven playoff experience and depth, positioning Minnesota as a serious contender while giving Kuminga a shot to prove he belongs at the top of the NBA.
