Summary
Trey Kaufman-Renn, the Timberwolves’ 59th pick, is suing the NCAA to return to college for a sixth season — and has already won a temporary restraining order. While this doesn’t force Minnesota’s hand, it opens up roster flexibility: they can keep his draft rights for a year, let him develop in college, and potentially re-sign him next summer. With three two-way players already on the roster, signing him now would require cutting someone — but with his return to school, the 15th spot remains open for trades or free agent signings. Plus, whispers of a Kevin Love reunion add intrigue to an already strategic offseason. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
