Summary
This Friday, the Lake Harriet Bandshell hosts a free, heartfelt memorial gathering to honor those lost 25 years ago on 9/11 — drawing thousands of community members, veterans, and families for music, reflection, and unity. The evening kicks off with a firefighter’s walk at 4 PM, followed by pre-concert music at 6:30 PM and a flag ceremony at 7 PM. The main concert begins at 7:15 PM with stirring performances from the 204th Army Band and the Twin Cities Trumpet Ensemble. Kids can join a parade through the aisles to receive free American flags — a touching tribute. Open to all, this annual event is a powerful reminder to keep memories alive and stand together in remembrance. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
