Summary

The Fortitude To Finish! Starting something is exciting. When you announce your new vision, people congratulate you. When you launch your business, ministry, book, podcast, fitness journey, or new chapter, everybody sees your enthusiasm. But what happens when the excitement disappears? What happens when people stop clapping? What happens when the results take longer than you expected? What happens when the assignment becomes difficult, expensive, lonely, inconvenient, or painful? That is when motivation is no longer enough. You need fortitude. Fortitude is the courage and strength to continue through difficulty, adversity, discomfort, and delay. It is the inner determination that says: “I may be tired, but I am not finished.” “I may need to rest, but I will not surrender.” “I may have to change my strategy, but I will not abandon my assignment."
