Summary
Seventy-year-old Peter Hawke, already serving time for past child abuse, is behind bars again—this time for six years—after pleading guilty to ten counts of sexually assaulting a child under thirteen. Arrested literally at the gates of his prison on his scheduled release day, authorities had been quietly building evidence over months. The abuse occurred between 2021 and 2023, prompting a high-risk assessment that led to a meticulously planned takedown. With support from specialist police, probation, and safeguarding teams, investigators handled the case with care around the victim before securing charges. Hawke now faces a restraining order and prison time aimed squarely at protecting children from his dangerous patterns.
