Summary
A Manchester police officer was fired for gross misconduct after repeatedly parking his patrol car near his ex-girlfriend’s home and workplace while on duty — despite multiple warnings. Phone records revealed 20 visits over five months, with no legitimate policing reason. Though he claimed he was emotionally distraught and didn’t intend to harass, the disciplinary panel found his behavior discredited the force and eroded public trust, leading to immediate dismissal.
