Summary
A wild afternoon unfolded at a downtown tram stop when a dog bit two people, sparking a police response and temporary chaos. A woman was briefly arrested but later cleared after investigators found no evidence of negligence. Witnesses say the dog, tied tightly to railings and visibly scared, may have been provoked by someone poking it — while its owner, a man, fled the scene. Four armed officers guarded the area for over an hour before the dog was removed in a police van. Tram services remained unaffected, and injuries were minor. All’s well that ends well — for now.
