Summary
The homily explores a religious commentary on the biblical parables of the vineyard workers and the royal wedding feast. It emphasizes that salvation is a universal invitation from God, who offers the same eternal reward of heaven regardless of when a person begins their spiritual journey. However, the reflection warns that being called by God is not the same as being chosen, as the latter requires an internal conversion of heart. Merely participating in religious rituals is insufficient if one lacks the "wedding garment" of an authentic interior life and an active struggle against spiritual indifference. Ultimately, while redemption is available to all, individuals must personally cooperate with grace to avoid the spiritual ruin of being unprepared.
