Summary
This homily centers on Gospel teachings from St. Luke and the inspirational life of St. Padre Pio. I reflect on how Jesus empowered his disciples to spread the kingdom of God, noting that this divine calling extends to everyday individuals rather than just a select few. By highlighting Padre Pio’s strict obedience and the apostles' material detachment, the homily encourages listeners to rely on spiritual grace rather than physical resources. The message emphasizes that modern Christians should act as instruments of Christ during their daily interactions and travels. Ultimately, the reflection reminds all of us that we will be held accountable for our influence on the souls we encounter throughout our lives.
