Summary
Today I sit down with Paul Miller, Army National Guard veteran and creator of the program Uncivilized Rebirth , where he helps people — with a focus on veterans — do the inner work to heal trauma and rediscover who they are. Paul opens up about a childhood he needed to escape, three tours in Iraq, being medically retired after a rare spinal disease, and eventually hitting a breaking point that led to a full spiritual awakening. What came out of all of that is a framework he built himself over years of deep personal work, and now he's sharing it with others. We also get into some really unexpected and fascinating territory — the soul versus the brain, what it means to be on mission, the possible neurological effects of military equipment, and why he calls himself a curse breaker. This one went places I did not anticipate, and I mean that in the best way. Links to Paul's program and social media are in the description below.
