Gunfire erupted in Brownfield at 2:45 AM, leaving a 28-year-old man wounded but stable in the hospital. Police chased down and arrested two suspects, Justin DeLaCruz and Braxton Gil, both 27, on aggravated assault charges. A third suspect, 30-year-old Shacolby Hill Jr., fled the scene and is now a fugitive — police say he may be armed and urge the public to avoid confrontation and call 911 immediately.
