Summary
A former correctional officer in Amarillo, Texas, Celeste Belizario, got arrested after being caught trying to bring a tiny amount of marijuana—just 0.49 grams—into the Williams P. Clements Unit where she worked. Found during a car search on August 28th, the substance tested positive and sealed evidence. As a TDCJ employee entrusted with prison security, her violation was especially serious, leading to booking in Potter County Jail. The case underscores how even with tight security, contraband still slips through—and those tasked with stopping it can become the ones getting caught.
