Welcome Millie and Kat from Käärme Jewels, Millie Founder & CEO started running her hand made necklace business in the spare room of Kat's house, when Kat was very heavily pregnant. Millie, Kat and Clare all worked in emregncy together, we open up about burnout amongst health care professionals. How it presents mentally and physically for each of us and the importance of stepping away and caring for yourself. However, no one could have predicted the cosmic guidance and divine timing of it all. Kat opens up about her tricky postpartum with her beautiful son Otis who had very low sleep needs, food intolerances and was unsettled alot. Millie became another set of hands to hold or more often a body to help babywear Otis so that Kat could have a shower and 5 mins to her self. Kat returned the support, helping to bead and run backend parts of the business, keeping Millie's mind on track. Then 1 year ago when Käärme blew up, Millie asked Kat to be all in, Kat was already heavily involved the business, whilst trying to balance the return to work / daycare juggle and it was not good. The universe answered and Kat left nursing (for now) too join the business full time. This allowed her to mother the way her family needed, whilst working within Käärme. While Millie is the face and ideas of Käärme, Kat wears many hats behind the scenes. Both girls speak on the personal growth they have gone through to keep running the business, and we discuss whilst all three of us have ADHD we are all very different, touching on 'diversity amongst neurodiverse' persons.
