Summary
The Rams are doubling down on tight end, drafting Max Klare 61st overall—just the second TE they’ve selected in back-to-back drafts. Klare, who bounced between Purdue and Ohio State, brings elite route-running and blocking potential, earning high praise from his Purdue QB. Now facing stiff competition with Higbee, Parkinson, and Ferguson already on the roster, Klare’s versatility could carve him a role—but his blocking needs refinement. With Sean McVay’s offense built around multiple TEs, Klare’s path to playing time is far from guaranteed, but the Rams clearly see his future in LA.
