Summary
Meet Morpheus, a tiny blue-eyed pup who arrived at Pasadena Humane barely five pounds—only to grow into a whopping 72-pound fluffy giant with a surprisingly social personality. His adopter Maria recalls sleepless nights of howling and cuddles, but now he’s a lovable chatterbox who gives her nightly lectures. His story reflects a broader trend: shelters saw a surge in large breed puppies post-pandemic, reminding new owners that adopting a pup is a big commitment. Predicting size or temperament? Nearly impossible. But Pasadena Humane offers support to help families thrive with their new furry family members.
