Summary
A chilling Amber Alert has been issued for 14-year-old Diana Galvez Ortega and her father, 38-year-old Sergio Galvez Perez, after the horrific discovery of a newborn girl—Baby Angelita—found dead on a roadside in Monterey County. The infant, born and left abandoned with an intact umbilical cord, is believed to be their daughter. Authorities suspect Sergio, who is wanted for multiple felonies against Diana, is the primary suspect in the infant’s death and has sexually assaulted his daughter. Though initially labeled a suspect in the infant’s murder, Diana has not been charged and is being treated as a victim by prosecutors. The duo last fled in a white Nissan Altima without plates, sparking a massive search across Southern California. The public is urged to avoid contact and immediately call 911 if they spot them.
