Summary
Marlowe Wax, a former undrafted free agent, stunned the Chargers by beating out third-round pick Junior Colson for the final inside linebacker spot—earning his shot through grit, consistency, and surprising coverage ability. With Denzel Perryman heading to injured reserve (expected 4 weeks), Wax is poised to explode onto the scene, likely seeing far more snaps than his 4% last year. Even if Colson returns, Wax’s preseason play, athleticism, and intensity position him as the team’s top backup—and possibly even their third linebacker before Week 5 or 6. This is Wax’s moment to prove he belongs. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
