Summary
Chargers’ offensive line in chaos as head coach Jim Harbaugh drops bombshell: they might actually split left guard duties between Kayode Awosika and Trey Pipkins — a bold, unconventional move that could mean rotating the freshest player each snap. With starting center Tyler Biadasz sidelined by ACL surgery and right guard Cole Strange stepping in despite being a left-side specialist, the battle for left guard narrows to just two players. Pipkins brings versatility from both tackle and guard spots, while Awosika has more experience at right guard — but splitting time at guard? That’s risky, especially with last year’s interior line struggles. Harbaugh sees it as a smart gamble to stay competitive as they figure things out.
