Summary
Simon Levy, already serving a life sentence for two brutal murders in Tottenham, now faces fresh charges after allegedly attacking a prison guard at HMP Belmarsh with a pen and strangling him. The 41-year-old pleaded not guilty via video link, with trial set for February 15th next year — potentially lasting four days. Prosecutors say the assault occurred during a routine meeting, escalating into a violent confrontation. With key pre-trial hearings scheduled for November and January, Levy is determined to fight these new accusations as the legal battle intensifies.
