Summary
West Virginia is 2-0 after dismantling UT Martin—but the stakes surrounding WVU’s next two games just exploded. Oklahoma State pulled off one of the biggest upsets in recent college football memory, stunning No. 6 Oregon, 39-31, as a massive underdog. Now, if Rich Rodriguez and the Mountaineers can defeat ranked Virginia in Charlotte, WVU could return to Morgantown for one of the biggest games on the entire Big 12 schedule. Mountaineer Paul joins Cody Stovall of Locked On Oklahoma State for a special crossover episode examining the Cowboys’ shocking transformation, Drew Mestemaker’s massive performance, and what an undefeated WVU–Oklahoma State Gold Rush showdown could mean for both programs. But first, West Virginia must get through Virginia. Is WVU truly ready for that moment? What did Oklahoma State expose against Oregon? And could September 26 become the night one of these rebuilding programs announces itself as a legitimate Big 12 contender? It’s a massive Locked On crossover between West Virginia and Oklahoma State! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
