Summary
Oklahoma fans are experiencing some serious quarterback regret after watching Michael Hawkins Jr. shine for the West Virginia Mountaineers! Oklahoma podcasts, articles, accounts and fans are openly questioning whether the Sooners made a massive mistake by allowing Hawkins to leave Norman. Now, the former Oklahoma quarterback is thriving in Rich Rodriguez’s offense and emerging as one of the most exciting players on WVU’s roster. On today’s Locked On West Virginia, Mountaineer Paul examines the reaction coming from Sooner Nation, what Oklahoma fans are saying about Hawkins, why his skill set fits Rich Rodriguez’s offense so perfectly and whether WVU landed the quarterback Oklahoma should have fought harder to keep. Oklahoma may want him back—but Michael Hawkins Jr. is a Mountaineer now. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
