Summary
West Virginia’s official 2026 depth chart is finally here—and it contains several major surprises before WVU’s season opener against Coastal Carolina. Prince Strachan is completely absent. Freshman Matt Sieg is listed as a co-starter with Andrew Powdrell. Miles Khatri is already the second-team nickel. Darius Wiley has forced an “OR” beside Zeke Durham-Campbell, while Nate Flower has moved ahead of Jack Cassidy on kickoffs. But this depth chart also confirms much of what we’ve been reporting throughout WVU’s fall camp. Michael Hawkins Jr. is listed first at quarterback. WVU revealed the exact starting offensive line we projected. John Neider earned a starting job, Josh Sapp and Kade Bush climbed the tight-end room, Devin Vass is outside the top two offensive-line units, and the hype surrounding Sieg and Khatri was very real. We break down every position, identify the five biggest surprises and pull out all the receipts from West Virginia’s first official depth chart of the 2026 season. How concerned should WVU fans be about Prince Strachan—and which freshman are you most excited to see against Coastal Carolina? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
