Summary
The Tennessee Titans struggled in Week 1 and Cam Ward's play is at the center of that conversation, but even if Ward continues to struggle, the Titans cannot put him on the bench. Ward is too young to disrupt his development in a new system and the reality is his replacement gives the Titans nothing to be happy about. As for the game this weekend, the Titans are big time underdogs and if they want any chance to cause an upset, they need to stop Saquon Barkley in the run game. A repeat of last week's run defense will result in a blowout loss. On offense, Cam Ward simply must play better. Week 1 wasn't all on Ward, but him playing better can fix a lot of the other problems quickly. However, the Titans need to run the ball more themselves to create better balance.
