Meanwhile, South Alabama looks to capitalize on Bishop Davenport’s return and overcome last season’s pass rush struggles. Are these early spreads—nearly 30 points for Georgia State and 12.5 for South Alabama—too much to cover? Dave Schultz breaks down Louisiana Tech’s Sun Belt debut against Northwestern State, Troy’s Sun Belt West Champions led by Goose Crowder, and the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns’ scoring potential behind Lunch Winfield, who now boasts a national NIL deal. Insights include whether ULM can cover versus Mississippi State, the spread dynamics for Coastal Carolina at West Virginia, and which underdogs might surprise. Get primed with expert analysis, betting picks, and all the key storylines as Week 1 unfolds.
