Summary
The Dallas Cowboys have been the butt of the NFL joke for years, but this year the joke is on the league as the defensive improvements combined with an electric offense led by Dak Prescott can lead to a deadly combination that makes the postseason. Similarly, the Cincinnati Bengals have made a lot of change on defense and if they can marginally improve, the explosive offensive trio of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins should have what they need to get back to the playoffs. Joe Brady got promoted to be the head man for the Buffalo Bills and it can take them to a level the team has not been at before. The Carolina Panthers fell backwards into a division title last year and now are being doubted heavily by the NFL ecosystem, but with a deep roster and good coaching, there should be more belief in the Panthers. The New Orleans Saints have added weapons to a nice young offensive unit and Brandon Staley's defense finished last season strong. This means the Saints are primed to surprise this year. Another team that could surprise is the New York Jets. Questions surround the coaching staff, but the roster itself has some good talent and it could lead to a couple more wins than expected.
