Summary
The Philadelphia Eagles have high expectations going into 2026 and if they do not hit those, there is a high chance of change that could include firing Nick Sirianni as the head coach. Kyle Shanahan may be one of the best coaches in the NFL, but if the San Francisco 49ers underperform, there may be an urge to shake things up and it could leave Shanahan on shaky footing in 2027. In the NFC North, teams also expect a lot this year. The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions feel like teams that are getting further away though. Matt LaFluer and Dan Campbell could have a hot seat by the end of the year, if not sooner. Finally, the coach with the most tenure in the NFL, Andy Reid with the Kansas City Chiefs, and one of the newest coaches in the league, Todd Monken with the Cleveland Browns, could be staring at a similar fate by the end of the season.
