Summary
The San Francisco Giants concluded the 2026 season with an extra-innings loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, but, more importantly, it was also the last time the team would play a game with Mike Krukow on the call. Luminaries from the San Francisco Giants organization and the sporting world at large all stuck around after the 5-1 loss to pay tribute to a true living legend, marking the end of Mike Krukow's 36 years in the booth. On the field, the San Francisco Giants used 10 different pitchers in their final game of the season and went 1-10 with runners in scoring position as the clutch hit evaded them all night long. A fitting end on the field for a disappointing season.
