Summary
The San Francisco Giants are still searching for their first win in 2026 against the Arizona Diamondbacks, as they fell again to the snakes today, 6-2 at Oracle Park. An error by Willy Adames and a bad play by Casey Schmitt in left field during the fifth inning led to three runs scoring for the Arizona Diamondbacks, and with the San Francisco Giants' offense producing another low-wattage outing, that was more than enough runs to generate a win for the visitors. This is the 10th time this season the San Francisco Giants have lost a series opener in 2026.
