Summary
Ian Griffin, already serving time for murder, is back in court after brutally assaulting his 83-year-old father—breaking his nose and knocking out a gold tooth—following a booze-fueled afternoon at the pub. The attack erupted after Griffin forced his dad, who had a pre-existing brain injury, to sign a will. Neighbors heard the chaos, and Griffin’s mom begged him to stop, fearing police, but he instead threatened to burn down their homes. His brother received frantic calls from their mom asking for money, which led to escalating tension. When the dad saw Ian outside the pub, he knew something was wrong. Police arrived to find Bernard Griffin bleeding badly, shouting “Help me,” while Ian was arrested nearby with blood on his hands. The assault lasted 30 minutes, involving punches, takedowns, and stomping, as Griffin forced his father to write a note about estate money. Griffin blamed his medication, called it a “one in a million” incident, and even claimed he’d been a “great son.” His mom defended him, saying his meds were to blame. But justice prevailed: he got five years in prison and restraining orders against his father and neighbors. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
