Summary
Liverpool’s lifeline is in danger as the Liverpool 6 Community Association, which runs a youth club, food bank, and uniform program for kids, faces a funding collapse after losing its main grant from The National Lottery Community Fund. With essential services like outreach to sheltered housing at risk, CEO Shirley Marshall is racing to find new funds while volunteers keep core operations alive. A desperate online fundraiser aims to raise just £6,000 to cover immediate costs — so far, £3,000 has been donated. Nine staff could lose their jobs by October, as most salaries depended on that lost funding. Local star Jamie Webster joined the cause, underscoring how vital this community hub is — especially for seniors who rely on it for connection and support. The community is rallying, but time is running out. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
